ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-Matthew Lugo drove in three runs and the Salt Lake Bees routed Albuquerque 15-1 Tuesday at Isotopes Park in Pacific Coast League play.
The Bees also outhit the Isotopes 16-4 in the decisive victory.
Brett Kerry netted seven strikeouts in five innings of work to secure the win on the mound for Salt Lake.
In victory, the Bees improved to 2-2 on the season while Albuquerque slumped to 1-3.
The squads return to action Wednesday at 6:35 pm in the second game of the series at Isotopes Park.
