Statewide Amber Alert Test On Thursday

(St. George, UT) — Southern Utah and the rest of the state will be undergoing a test of the Amber Alert system this week. The Department of Public Safety said the statewide test will take place on Thursday to make sure Utah’s system upgrades are working and are in line with national standards. It will hit several different devices, including cell phones, televisions, and the radio. It comes after a real Amber Alert was sent out last week and helped lead to the arrest of a man in Riverdale.
