Poll Indicates Support For Legalizing Recreational Marijuana In Utah

(Salt Lake City, UT) — A new poll indicates there is support for a citizen’s ballot initiative to legalize recreational marijuana in Utah. The poll conducted earlier this month by Noble Predictive Insights asked about 600 registered voters whether they would support such an initiative. Fifty-two percent said yes, while 38 percent said no. The demographics of the poll show that conservatives and members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints would oppose such an initiative.
