5A State Quarterfinals @ Huntsman Center
SALT LAKE CITY-Jack Anderton posted 15 points and the No. 4 Highland Rams routed No. 5 Bountiful 74-53 Tuesday in the 5A state quarterfinals at the Huntsman Center. The RedHawks were led by Bryson Heath’s 11 points in the loss. Highland next faces No. 9 Brighton Wednesday at 7:20 pm in the state semifinals at the Huntsman Center.
SALT LAKE CITY-Josh Mawhinney’s 15 points and 8 rebounds led the way and the No. 9 Brighton Bengals upset No. 1 Orem 55-53 at the Huntsman Center Tuesday in the 5A state quarterfinals. Simeon Sugturaga led the Tigers with 15 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.
SALT LAKE CITY-Gavin Lowe posted 31 points and 6 rebounds and the No. 2 Olympus Titans overpowered No. 7 Springville 70-56 in the 5A state quarterfinals Tuesday at the Huntsman Center. Jamyn Sondrup’s 17 points and 14 rebounds led the Red Devils in the loss. Olympus next plays No. 3 Timpview Wednesday at 9:00 pm in the state semifinals at the Huntsman Center.
SALT LAKE CITY-Callen Toelstrup’s 18 points led the way and the No. 3 Timpview Thunderbirds waxed the No. 6 Alta Hawks 61-51 Tuesday in the 5A state quarterfinals at the Huntsman Center. Dash Reiser’s 17 points led the Hawks in defeat.

SALT LAKE CITY-Mahala Spederon’s 14 points and 7 rebounds led the way and the No. 2 Wasatch Wasps overpowered No. 7 Timpview 56-46 in the 5A state quarterfinals Tuesday at the Huntsman Center. Tasi Galeia netted a game-high 16 points in the loss for the Thunderbirds. Wasatch next faces No. 3 Bountiful Wednesday at 12:30 pm in the state semifinals at the Huntsman Center.
SALT LAKE CITY-Charlotte Johnson posted 13 points and 5 rebounds and the No. 3 Bountiful RedHawks clobbered No. 22 Spanish Fork 57-16 Tuesday in the 5A state quarterfinals at the Huntsman Center Tuesday. Addison Gwilliam and Bella Cox had 4 points apiece in defeat for the Dons.
SALT LAKE CITY-Kylee Falatea’s 34 points and 6 rebounds led the way and the No. 1 West Panthers smacked No. 8 Brighton 80-61 in the 5A state quarterfinals at the Huntsman Center Tuesday. Sophie Nielsen led the Bengals in defeat with 26 points. West next faces No. 4 Salem Hills Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the Huntsman Center in the state semifinals.
SALT LAKE CITY-The No. 4 Salem Hills Skyhawks clipped No. 5 Cedar Valley 44-34 Tuesday in the 5A state quarterfinals at the Huntsman Center.
