OGDEN, Utah-Monday, Weber State football head coach Mickey Mental announced the addition of Justin Mullgrav as a new assistant coach.
Mullgrav will coach the Wildcats’ defensive tackles.
Mullgrav comes to Weber State from the University of Utah where he served as a defensive analyst for the Utes’ football program.
Mullgrav has also spent time as an assistant at Eastern Washington and as a linebackers coach at Fort Scott CC (Kan.) and as a linebackers coach at ASA College of Miami.
Mullgrav, a native of Old Bridge, N.J., has also been with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the player personnel department (2016) and starred as a linebacker at NCAA FCS South Carolina State from 2012-2014. While there, he helped lead the Bulldogs to a pair of NCAA FCS playoff appearances.
He is a 2015 graduate of South Carolina State and earned his Master’s degree at Miami (Fla.) in 2016.
