Unemployment Filings Rise In UT

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Initial filings for unemployment are on the rise across Utah. That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says that for the week ending December 7th, more than 24-hundred initial filings for unemployment were filed across the state. The week prior, there were nearly 18-hundred filings. Nationally, unemployment claims rose for the week.
