IRVING, Texas-Thursday, BYU and Utah football placed several standouts on the all-Big 12 teams.
Colorado senior quarterback Shedeur Sanders won the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year Award. Sanders completed 74 percent of his passes for 3,926 yards, 35 touchdowns and 8 interceptions for the Buffaloes.
His teammate, junior cornerback Travis Hunter, who also played at receiver for the Buffaloes, was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.
