(Undated) — McDonald’s Quarter Pounders are being linked to an E. Coli outbreak across multiple states, including Utah. Yesterday, the CDC announced they’re working with McDonald’s to determine what ingredient in the burgers was contaminated. The fast-food chain has halted use of fresh onions and quarter-pound beef patties in several states as a precaution. At least 49 people in ten different states were sickened, and one person has died. Cases have also been reported in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Oregon, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
