Heber Woman Arrested After Armed Carjacking at Bridal Veil Falls

(Utah County, UT) — A woman from Heber City is arrested after allegedly stealing a pickup truck at gunpoint from four people at Bridal Veil Falls. Authorities say 35-year-old Heather Murray pointed a firearm at the victims, demanding they exit the vehicle. Murray fled after driving the truck into the Provo River, where it got stuck. She was apprehended after a search by multiple law enforcement agencies. She faces charges including aggravated robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, and possession of a dangerous weapon. A realistic-looking BB gun and drugs were found in the stolen truck.
