Sitake Named To Dodd Trophy Watch List Thursday

ATLANTA-Thursday, BYU head football coach Kalani Sitake was named to the Dodd Trophy Watch List.

This award is named after legendary Georgia Tech head coach Bobby Dodd (1945-1966) and was established in 1976 to honor the FBS college football coach “whose program represents the importance of scholarship, leadership and integrity.” These were Dodd’s three pillars of his coaching philosophy.

Sitake, who is 67-41 (.620; 2016-present) at BYU, was announced to the Bear Bryant Watch List and as the Big 12’s midseason coach of the year Wednesday.

Sitake and his squad face Oklahoma State Friday at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
