UT Marks 50th Anniversary Of WIC Program

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah is celebrating 50 years of helping families in need. Governor Cox signed a declaration making yesterday “Women, Infants and Children Day.” The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program, also known as WIC, provides service to 47-thousand people across the state. Counseling, nutrition classes and other resources are offered at 46 clinics.
