EL PASO, Texas-Chad Wallach, Kyren Paris and Shane Matheny each homered and the Salt Lake Bees overpowered El Paso 7-1 Tuesday at Southwest University Park in Pacific Coast League baseball play.
Luis Ledo posted a strikeout in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Cal Mitchell homered in the loss for the Chihuahuas.
Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees improved to 65-73 and the Chihuahuas fell to 54-85.
The squads return to action Wednesday at 12:05 pm in a swift turnaround in the second game of the series at Southwest University Park.
