Bees Win Third Straight Against Sacramento Friday

SALT LAKE CITY-Willie Calhoun homered twice and Jordyn Adams also went yard as the Salt Lake Bees dismantled Sacramento 8-1 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Kenny Rosenberg posted seven strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Thairo Estrada homered in the loss for the River Cats.

The Bees, winners of three straight, have earned at least a split in the series and improved to 64-71. The River Cats slumped to 72-64.

The squads return to action Saturday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark in the fifth game of the series as the Bees go for the series win.
