LOGAN, Utah-Monday, Utah State senior placekicker Elliott Nimrod was named the Mountain West’s Special Teams Player of the Week.
The native of Bentonville, Ark. made all three of his field goal attempts in the Aggies’ 36-14 win over NCAA FCS Robert Morris last Saturday.
Nimrod also made three of four extra point attempts on the evening for Utah State.
Nimrod and his Aggies teammates return to action Saturday at USC in a non-conference tilt against the Trojans.
