SUGAR LAND, Texas-Jesús Bastidas and Kennedy Corona each homered and the Sugar Land Space Cowboys downed Salt Lake 6-3 Thursday in Pacific Coast League play at Constellation Field.
Shawn Dubin posted two strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Space Cowboys.
Chad Wallach drove in two runs in the loss for the Space Cowboys.
Following Thursday’s results, the Space Cowboys, who have achieved at least a series split this week, improved to 80-48 while the Bees fell to 60-68.
The squads return to action Friday at 6:05 pm for the fourth game in the series at Constellation Field.
