PROVO, Utah-Late Monday morning, BYU football announced its team captains for the 2024 season which begins Saturday by hosting the FCS Southern Illinois Salukis at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
The Cougars’ captains are as follows:
senior defensive lineman Tyler Batty (5.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, 9 tackles for a loss last season)
senior cornerback Jakob Robinson (4 interceptions, 7 defensed passes, 1 tackle for a loss last season)
senior center Connor Pay (34 career starts in 44 possible games for the Cougars)
junior receiver Chase Roberts (42 rec, 573 yards, 5 TD’s last season)
