SALT LAKE CITY-Jax Biggers drove in three runs and the Round Rock Express dismantled Salt Lake 8-1 Friday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark. Steven Jennings pitched 1.1 innings to earn the win on the mound for Round Rock.
Willie Calhoun drove in a run for the Bees in the loss.
Following Friday’s results, the Express got back to .500 at 61-61 while the Bees fell to 59-64.
The squads return to action Saturday at 6:35 pm for the fourth game of the series at Smith’s Ballpark.
