WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif.-Keston Hiura and Chad Wallach homered and the Salt Lake Bees doubled up Sacramento 6-3 Saturday at Sutter Health Park in Pacific Coast League play.
José Suarez posted eight strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mouns for the Bees.
Trenton Brooks homered in the loss for the River Cats.
Following Saturday’s results, the Bees, winners of three straight, took the series lead and improved to 57-61. The River Cats fell to 62-57.
The Bees go for the series win Sunday for a 2:05 pm opening pitch at Sutter Health Park.
