WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif.-Jake Marisnick homered and the Salt Lake Bees routed Sacramento 8-1 Thursday at Sutter Health Park in Pacific Coast League play.
Sam Bachman posted three strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Blake Sabol homered in defeat for the River Cats.
Following Thursday’s results, the Bees improved to 55-61 and the River Cats fell to 62-55.
The squads return to action Friday at 7:45 pm in the fourth game of the series at Sutter Health Park.
