Thursday, BYU and Utah received representatives on the Lombardi Award Watch List.
This award annually honors the outstanding college football lineman “who displays exceptional performance and ability and embodies the character and discipline” epitomized by former Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins head coach Vince Lombardi throughout his life.
BYU is represented by senior defensive lineman Tyler Batty (5.5 sacks, 9 tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles last season).
Utah is represented by senior defensive tackle Junior Tafuna (1.5 sacks, forced fumble, two defensed passes last season).
