(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah lawmaker Phil Lyman is asking November’s ballot to not be printed while his case plays out. The Blanding Republican made the request to the state Supreme Court following his lawsuit to remove Governor Spencer Cox and his lieutenant governor from office. It’s the state representative’s latest move since losing the Republican primary election for governor to Cox by more than 37-thousand votes in June. Lyman wrote a message on social media this past weekend saying he will be running as a write-in candidate in the general election.
