SALT LAKE CITY-Drew Lugbauer drove in a pair of runs and the Las Vegas Aviators blanked Salt Lake 7-0 Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Brady Basso posted six strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Las Vegas.
Following Saturday’s results, the Aviators, who secured the series win, improved to 58-54. The Bees, losers of five of their last six, fell to 54-58.
The series concludes Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark. Opening pitch is slated for 1:05 pm.
