SALT LAKE CITY-Jack López homered and the Salt Lake Bees routed Las Vegas 6-0 Thursday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.
Johnny Cueto posted two strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Following Thursday’s results, the Bees snapped a 4-game losing streak by improving to 54-56. In defeat, the Aviators fell to 56-54.
The squads return to action Friday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark for the fourth game of the series.
