SALT LAKE CITY-Nick Allen homered twice and Colby Thomas and Max Muncy also went yard and the Las Vegas Aviators downed Salt Lake 6-1 Wednesday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.
Hogan Harris recorded seven strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aviators.
Elliot Soto drove in a run in defeat for the Bees.
Following Wednesday’s results, Las Vegas improved to 56-53 while the Bees fell to 53-56. Wednesday represented Salt Lake’s fourth consecutive loss.
The squads return to action Thursday at 6:35 pm for the third game of the series at Smith’s Ballpark.
