SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, Utah graduate senior quarterback Cameron Rising became the sole representative for the Beehive State on the Walter Camp Watch List.
This award is annually bestowed upon the nation’s most outstanding player by the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
While Rising did not play football last season because of an injury, in his collegiate career for the Utes (2020-present), he has completed 64 percent of his passes for 5,572 yards, 46 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
Rising’s most successful season to date was 2022 when he completed nearly 65 percent of his passes for 3,034 yards, 26 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.
Rising and his Utah teammates start the season by hosting Southern Utah August 31 at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
