Bees Down Rainiers, Win 12th Straight Game

TACOMA, Wash.-Keston Hiura, Jordyn Adams and Jason Martin homered as the Salt Lake Bees overpowered Tacoma 10-6 Wednesday in Pacific Coast League play at Cheney Stadium.

José Suarez posted seven strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Ryan Bliss recorded a grand slam in the loss for the Rainiers.

Following Wednesday’s results, the Bees, who have won 12 consecutive games, improved to 52-51 on the season.

The loss for Tacoma dropped the Rainiers to 57-47 on the season.

The squads return to action Thursday at 8:05 pm at Cheney Stadium as the Bees go for their 13th consecutive win.
