TACOMA, Wash.-Jake Marisnick, Keston Hiura and Jason Martin homered and the Salt Lake Bees routed Tacoma 17-6 Tuesday at Cheney Stadium in Pacific Coast League play.
Reid Detmers posted nine strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Luis Urías and Jake Slaughter homered in the loss for the Rainiers.
Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees, who improved to 51-51 on the season, won their 11th straight game.
Tacoma, meanwhile, fell to 57-46.
The Bees seek to get over .500 Wednesday as the squads meet again at Cheney Stadium for an 8:05 pm opening pitch.
