SALT LAKE CITY-Cole Tucker and Jake Marisnick homered and the Salt Lake Bees edged Sacramento 4-3 Sunday in Pacific Coast League play to conclude the series.
Davis Daniel posted two strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Hunter Bishop and Jerar Encarnación homered in defeat for the River Cats.
With the win, Salt Lake secured a series win in the final series before the All-Star Break and improved to 41-51. Sacramento fell to 49-44 in the loss.
The Bees return to action Friday at Las Vegas at 8:05 pm to start a 3-game series at Las Vegas Ballpark against the Aviators.
