SALT LAKE CITY-Jake Marisnick and Charles Leblanc homered and the Salt Lake Bees won their third straight game with a 7-5 victory over Sacramento Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Zach Plesac posted three strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees, who were honoring the Salt Lake City Gulls (1975-1984) with orange and turquoise uniforms.
David Villar and Jerar Encarnación homered in the loss for the River Cats.
Following Friday’s results, the Bees improved to 40-50 while the River Cats fell to 48-43.
Salt Lake goes for the series win in the fifth game of the series Saturday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
