Bees Sweep Isotopes Sunday To Earn Series Split

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-Jake Marisnick, Keston Hiura and Anthony Mulrine each homered and the Salt Lake Bees routed Albuquerque 13-2 Sunday to win a game that had been suspended from Saturday evening at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park.

Ryan Miller posted three strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Drew Romo and Trevor Boone homered in the loss for the Isotopes.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.Keston Hiura hit his 11th home run of the season and the Salt Lake Bees completed a Sunday sweep of Albuquerque with a 5-3 win over the Isotopes at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park.

Reid Detmers recorded 11 strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Julio Carreras drove in two runs in the loss for the Isotopes.

Following Sunday’s games, the Bees, who secured a series split, improved to 35-45. Meanwhile, the Isotopes fell to 29-52.

The Bees swiftly return to action Monday at 8:05 pm at Tacoma against the Rainiers to commence a six-game series.
