PROVO, Utah-BYU Football celebrates its 100th year of football this season and will have several events to commemorate the occasion for fans.
BYU 50 (July 12-August 30)
As of July 12, the BYU athletics department will drop boxes in all 50 states. Utah residents will have a chance to participate in this August 3.

100th Season Apparel (July 17)
These will be available at gocougs.com, the official team store of the BYU Cougars
BYU Football: A Celebration of 100 Seasons (July 27)
BYUTV will televise a special two-hour live program chronicling the Cougars’ rich football history.

For the home opener against the FCS Salukis, the Cougars’ 50th anniversary will be honored, including the 1974 Fiesta Bowl squad, the first BYU football team to play in a bowl game

BYU’s National Award winners will be honored
October 18 (Oklahoma State game)
BYU’s 1984 National Championship team will be honored during their 40th anniversary.
November 16 (Kansas game)
BYU’s College Football Hall of Fame members will be honored
