CEDAR CITY, Utah-Monday, Southern Utah University Athletics and the Professional Sales Program on the Cedar City, Utah-based campus announced a partnership.
The collaboration has been designed to provide students with real-world experience while supporting the university’s athletic ticket sales effort.
This partnership’s primary purpose is to integrate students pursuing a minor in sales directly into the ticket sales operation for SUU.
Students can then apply the knowledge practically by gaining first-hand experience in sales strategies, customer service and professional communication.
This also enables the athletics department to see a boost in revenue and have an enhanced presence in the community.
Both parties are optimistic about potential outcomes from this experience and look forward to success in this endeavor.
