SALT LAKE CITY-Albert Amora Jr., Sergio Alcántara and Bryson Brigman drove in two runs apiece and the Reno Aces used a 6-run 8th Inning to come from behind and down Salt Lake 9-6 Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Austin Pope posted four strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aces.
Kyren Paris and Miguel Sanó homered in defeat for the Bees.
Following Saturday’s results, the Aces improved to 35-39 while the Bees fell to 31-42.
The Bees can still win the series with a win Sunday at 1:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark. Meanwhile, the Aces will attempt to go for the series split.
