Bees Win Third Straight Against Aces Thursday

SALT LAKE CITY-Keston Hiura homered twice and added an RBI single as the Salt Lake Bees won their third straight game with a 7-3 victory over Reno Thursday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Davis Daniel posted five strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Albert Almora Jr. drove in two runs in defeat for the Aces.

Following Thursday’s results, the Bees improved to 31-40 while the Aces fell to 33-39.

Salt Lake goes for the series win Friday evening at Smith’s Ballpark. Opening pitch is at 6:35 pm.
