LAS VEGAS-Drew Lugbauer homered and the Las Vegas Aviators secured a series split against Salt Lake with a 5-1 win over the Bees Sunday at Las Vegas Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Aaron Brooks posted seven strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aviators.
Jordyn Adams drove in a run in defeat for Salt Lake.
Following Sunday’s results, the Aviators improved to 35-34 while the Bees fell to 28-40.
The Bees return to action Tuesday at 6:35 pm against the Reno Aces for a six-game series at Smith’s Ballpark.
