SALT LAKE CITY-David Hensley and César Salazar each homered and the Sugar Land Space Cowboys bested Salt Lake 8-5 Saturday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.
A.J. Blubaugh posted three strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Space Cowboys.
Drew Ellis and D’Shawn Knowles each homered in the loss for the Bees.
Following Saturday’s results, the Space Cowboys improved to 40-22 and the Bees fell to 25-36.
The Space Cowboys go for the series sweep Sunday at 1:05 pm in the series finale from Smith’s Ballpark.
