RENO, Nev.- Jack López and Drew Ellis homered and the Salt Lake Bees routed the Reno Aces 11-3 Sunday at Greater Nevada Field to conclude the Pacific Coast League series.
Davis Daniel posted eight strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Sergio Alcántara, Andrés Chaparro and Tristin English each drove in a run in defeat for the Aces.
Following Sunday’s results, the Bees improved to 25-31 and the Aces fell to 28-29.
Salt Lake returns to action Tuesday at 6:35 pm to start a six-game series against the Sugar Land Space Cowboys at Smith’s Ballpark.
