SALT LAKE CITY-Michael Toglia and Drew Romo each homered and the Albuquerque Isotopes downed Salt Lake 6-3 Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Chance Adams recorded a strikeout in 1.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Albuquerque.
Michael Stefanic, Jason Martin and Hunter Dozier each drove in a run in defeat for the Bees.
Following Saturday’s results, the Isotopes improved to 16-34 while the Bees fell to 22-27.
Sunday, the Bees go for the series victory while Albuquerque seeks to salvage a split.
Opening pitch is slated for 1:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
