BRIGHAM CITY, Utah-Stevie Checketts homered and the No. 5 Box Elder Bees edged No. 12 Cedar Valey 13-12 in the first game of their 5A Super Regionals series Thursday. Catharina Underwood and Lindsey Strieby homered twice in the loss for the Aviators. Mindy Ward and Ellie Leatham also went yard in the loss for Cedar Valley.
