State Track and Field: Day 1

PROVO, Utah-Thursday, Day 1 of the Utah High School Activities Association state track and field championships occurred with action at Robison Track on the campus of Brigham Young University. The Wasatch Wasps competed against their fellow 5A and 6A schools in the state as competition was specifically designated for the larger schools representing the UHSAA. Here are the results as follows:

After Day 1, the 5A boys leader is Woods Cross with 32 points. West Jordan is second with 31.5 points. Viewmont is third with 22 points. For the 5A girls, Timpview has the lead with 38 points, Box Elder is second with 32 points. Skyline is third with 18 points.
