SALT LAKE CITY-Drew Cavanaugh drove in three runs and the Sacramento River Cats downed Salt Lake 4-2 Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Spencer Bivens posted three strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Sacramento.
All of the Bees’ runs came on errors by the River Cats, of which there were three Saturday evening.
Following Saturday’s results, the River Cats improved to 22-16 while the Bees fell to 15-22.
The Bees and River Cats conclude the series Sunday at 1:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
