SALT LAKE CITY-Jordyn Adams, Elliot Soto and Bryce Teodosio drove in two runs apiece and the Salt Lake Bees routed Sacramento 9-1 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Brett Kerry posted four strikeouts in eight innings of work to earn his first win of the season for the Bees.
Brett Wisely drove in a run in defeat for the River Cats.
With the win, Salt Lake achieved its fourth consecutive victory and first series win of the season.
Following Friday’s results, the Bees improved to 15-21 and the River Cats fell to 21-16.
The squads return to action Saturday evening at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark for the penultimate game of the series.
