Bees Win Third Straight Against Sacramento Thursday

SALT LAKE CITY-Hunter Dozier and Charles Leblanc homered and the Salt Lake Bees overpowered Sacramento 14-8 Thursday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Hans Crouse posted four strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Crouse improved to 2-0 on the season in victory.

Brett Wisely, Luis Matos and Drew Cavanaugh drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the River Cats.

The Bees secured at least a series split against Sacramento with Thursday’s win.

Following Thursday’s results, the Bees improved to 14-21 while the River Cats fell to 21-15.

The Bees and River Cats return to action Friday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
