HEBER CITY, Utah-Carter Bucad and Ryker Evans drove in two runs apiece and the Wasatch Wasps bested Timpview 7-3 in Region 7 baseball play Wednesday, concluding the regular season.
Grant Mahoney and Colton Bassett drove in an additional run each for Wasatch in victory. Braxton Faller recorded eight strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wasps.
Brigham Richards drove in two runs in the loss for Timpview and Elliot Myers added another RBI in defeat for the Thunderbirds.

SALEM, Utah-The Wasatch Wasps overpowered Salem Hills 14-4 in Region 7 boys lacrosse play Wednesday.
Girls Lacrosse
Region 7
HEBER CITY, Utah-Tiffany Turner and Brooke Warren scored 3 goals apiece and the Salem Hills Skyhawks overpowered Wasatch 9-6 Wednesday in Region 7 girls lacrosse play at Wright-Tree Stadium. Allie Parke netted four goals and Kaia Anderson scored twice in the loss for the Wasps.
