SALT LAKE CITY-Andrés Chaparro homered twice and Adrian Del Castillo also went yard as the Reno Aces outlasted Salt Lake 8-7 Sunday, concluding the series at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Andrew Saalfrank earned the win on the mound for the Aces, recording two strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work.
Chad Wallach and Elliot Soto homered in defeat for the Bees, who fell to 7-14 on the season. Reno improved to 11-9 following Sunday’s results.
The Bees return to action Tuesday at Round Rock to start a 6-game series against the Express.
