SALT LAKE CITY-Ryan Bliss drove in four runs and the Tacoma Rainiers downed Salt Lake 7-4 Thursday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.
Jhonathan Diaz, who pitched for the Bees last season, recorded 10 strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Rainiers.
Bryce Teodosio drove in two runs in defeat for the Bees and Zach Humphreys added another RBI for Salt Lake.
Following Thursday’s results, the Rainiers improved to 4-2 on the season while the Bees slumped to 2-4.
The squads return to action Friday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
