LOGAN, Utah-Friday, as the No. 18 Utah State Aggies, serving as the No. 1 seed in the Mountain West Conference Tournament, face No. 5 seed San Diego State in the semifinals, head coach Danny Sprinkle has been named as a semifinalist for the Naismith Coach of the Year Award.
The announcement was made by the Atlanta Tip-Off Club.
Sprinkle presently has the Aggies at 27-5 and 14-4 in conference play ahead of Friday evening’s game against the Aztecs.
