LAS VEGAS-Tuesday, University of Utah men’s basketball was represented by the Pac-12 Conference by senior power forward Brandon Carlson on the all-conference first team and senior point guard Deivon Smith received an honorable mention selection.
Carlson, a former Bingham High School star out of South Jordan, Utah, averaged 17.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game for the Utes.
Smith, a native of Loganville, Ga., posted 12.0 points, 6.3 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game for the Utes this season.
Carlson, Smith and their Utes teammates, as the No. 6 seed in this week’s Pac-12 Tournament, square off against No. 11 Arizona State Wednesday evening at the T-Mobile Arena of Las Vegas.
