ST. GEORGE, Utah-Tuesday, Utah Tech, Southern Utah and Utah Valley men’s basketball each received representatives on the WAC all-freshman team.
Utah Tech was represented by freshman point guard Aric Demings.
The 6-foot 180-pound native of Duncanville, Texas averaged 7.5 points and 2.2 assists per game this season for the 11-20 Trailblazers.
Demings scored a season-best 19 points in a win over Florida International and a loss to Texas-Rio Grande Valley.
The Thunderbirds’ representative is freshman guard Braden Housley. Housley, a former Skyridge High School star out of Lehi, Utah, averaged 10.8 points and 3.6 assists this season.
The Wolverines were represented by freshman forward Osiris Grady. The native of Henderson, Nev. and former Coronado High School star averaged 4.6 points and 2.9 rebounds per game this season for Utah Valley.
Grady had a season-best 16 points in a 79-63 loss to Liberty December 20.
