Great Osobor Named One of Five Finalists For Karl Malone Award

LOGAN, Utah-Thursday, Utah State junior wing Great Osobor was named as one of five finalists for the Karl Malone Award. This award honors the top power forward in Division I men’s college basketball.

Osobor averages 17.5 points and 8.9 rebounds per game for the Aggies while shooting just under 58 percent from the field.

Osobor is joined on this list by San Diego State senior Jaedon LeDee (20.5 points, 8.3 rebounds per game), Duke sophomore Kyle Filipowski (16.5 points, 8 rebounds per game), Dayton junior DaRon Holmes II (20.1 points, 8.2 rebounds per game) and Akron senior Enrique Freeman (18.2 points, 12.7 rebounds per game).

Osobor and his Utah State teammates return to action Saturday for Senior Night as the Aggies host New Mexico.
